3rd Annual “Under the Lights” Soccer Jamoree 2012
Friday September 28 & Saturday September 29
There are 181 kids in K-6 soccer this year and it is run with all volunteers. This year we had parents, guardians, grandparents, siblings, relatives, students offering volunteer community service hours, varsity players as well as youth soccer alumni and parents of alumni all helping with the program. The Jamboree would not be a success without the following;
--- Donations of food, soda, water, powerade, chips, crock pots, baked goods, candy, & supplies
--- Area sponsors/businesses to defray t-shirt costs
--- Donated time in the snack shack with concessions, selling baked goods, t-shirts and trinkets,
--- LYSL website and facebook updates, program and sponsor posters and printouts
--- Referees, coaches, assistant coaches, ball boys/girls, etc, setting up benches/nets and running stop watches, field prep, set up and clean up crew
This year Franconia, Bethlehem, Lisbon, Waterford, Lancaster, St. Johnsbury, Haverhill, Whitefield and Lincoln all showed up with teams and it was a really great way to break in the new Snack Shack building. Also a big thank you to Littleton Parks & Recreation Department for making this happen in time for our Jamboree.
We were very thankful the weather held and we hope you all had FUN!
Many thanks to all of you, it was greatly appreciated and the success of the program/jamboree couldn't be done without you!
